Let’s talk views. Dubai has them in abundance. Butttt finding the hidden spots are always my favourite. Burj Club, not only has views of the insane Burj Khalifa, but is also overlook the Dubai Mall and the famous fountains. Fountain show whilst sunbathing and eating pasta. I’m in. 😍

What the “Influencers” aren’t posting. No, not the coconut 🥥 There was a lot of press over the Christmas period about people flocking to a maskless Dubai enjoying parties and crowded events. Whilst I can’t speak for everyone... The majority of the country, including tourists are forced to wear masks 99% of the day. The exceptions being in your rooms, sunbeds, pools and whilst sat down in bars and restaurants. Walking through the streets, the malls, the beaches and the hotels it is SO difficult to spot someone not wearing a mask. Not to mention temperature checks entering hotels, malls and shops and being turned away if your temp is too high or you don’t have your nose and mouth covered. Another reason to not buy everything you see on Instagram. That mask was probably off for the 15 seconds it took to take the photo. ✌🏼 😷

People don’t upload the 150 failed photos, the ones where they don’t look perfect, the unposed, or the 99.9% of the rest of the holiday where they look like a boiled egg in suncream and less than perfect hair. Remember this platform is the 0.1% picture perfect shots we want the world to see. ✌🏼
